Painting outdoors "en plein air" is a favorite pursuit. It is secondary to my mural work at this time, but I hope it will gradually become my main job. There is nothing like being out in nature, responding to the light and beauty and life that surrounds us. The magnificence that is out there, filtered through the soul of the artist onto a little piece of canvas with a knife or a brush, somehow magnifies the soul of the artist and also the soul of the one who views the paintings. That's the way it feels to me. I offer these images in the hope that those who see them will also be inspired and touched in some loving way.
